MONSTER BREAD | |
1 c. warm water 1 pkg. yeast 1 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. salt 1 c. flour 1 egg white Coarse salt (opt.) Beat together. Add 2 1/2 more cups of flour; blend well. Knead dough on lightly floured surface until smooth and shiny. Put the dough in a lightly oiled bowl. Turn once to coat. Cover. Let rise in warm place for 1 hour. Shape into monster shapes. Brush with mixture of 1 egg white and 1 tablespoon water; sprinkle with coarse salt (optional). Bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. |
