EASY TART CHERRY COBBLER 
1 (15 oz.) can red tart pitted cherries
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 375°F. Melt butter in 8x8-inch baking pan as oven is heating. Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder. Add milk and vanilla. Stir until smooth. Drain cherries, saving juice.

When butter is melted, pour flour mixture into pan. Distribute cherries evenly over top of batter. DO NOT STIR. Drizzle cherry juice over cherries. Bake at 375°F for 45 to 55 minutes until bubbly at edges and golden brown on top. Cool and serve with ice cream.
