ICEBOX COOKIES 
1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
3 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs

Sift salt and soda with flour. Mix with butter until it looks like fine crumbs. Add nuts. Beat eggs and add the sugar. Mix well. Then mix with the flour mixture. This makes a very stiff dough.

Form in rolls and wrap in wax paper and place in icebox. Let stand until next day. Slice thin and bake at 350 degrees until brown.
