1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter
1 c. sugar
3 beaten eggs
3/4 c. light corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped pecans
2 tbsp. bourbon
1 (10 inch) unbaked pie shell
Whipped cream (opt.)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream butter. Beat in sugar, gradually. Add eggs, corn syrup, vanilla and salt. Blend well. Stir in chocolate chips, nuts and bourbon. Pour filling into pie shell. Bake 40 to 50 minutes. Serve with a border of whipped cream, if desired.
