BROWNIE CAKE & FROSTING | |
CAKE: 2 c. flour 2 c. sugar 1 c. butter 1/4 c. cocoa 1/2 c. buttermilk 1 tsp. baking soda 2 eggs, beaten 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. water FROSTING: 1/2 c. butter 6 tbsp. milk 1 tsp. vanilla 1/4 c. cocoa 1 lb. powdered sugar 1/2 c. nuts Bring flour, sugar to boil and pour over dry mixture. Add butter, cocoa and water and mix. Add 1/2 cup buttermilk, 1 teaspoon baking soda, eggs, vanilla. Bake 11 to 20 minutes at 400 degrees in jelly roll pan. Bring all ingredients of frosting together and boil. Frost cake while warm. |
