APPLE DROP COOKIES 
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. Crisco
1 egg
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. wheat flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. cinnamon and nutmeg
1/4 c. pared, cored, chopped apples (1 lg. apple)
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Drop by teaspoons on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 20 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
