OVEN CARAMEL CORN 
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white corn syrup
2 sticks butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Pop about 30 cups popcorn sort out kernels. Combine sugar, butter, syrup, salt and vanilla. Boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add soda. Pour immediately over popcorn and stir until all is covered. Put in large pan. (I use turkey roaster.) Place in 225 degree oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Let cool. Break apart and store in covered container.
