FRESH FRUIT SALAD 
1/2 pt. water
2 oranges
1 lemon
3 to 4 oz. sugar
2 lbs. mixed prepared fresh fruit

Put the water with thin strips of orange and lemon rind, into the saucepan. Take just the top "zest" from the fruit. Simmer for five minutes. Add the sugar, stir until dissolved then add the orange and lemon juice. Strain over the prepared fruit, allow to become cold. Great on a warm day!!
