JUGOSLAVIAN SAUERKRAUT 
1 lg. onion
3 cloves garlic, minced
Parsley flakes
1/2 lb. spareribs and/or 1/2 lb. pork sausage
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 can beer
1 lg. jar sauerkraut or more
1/2 tsp. pepper

Saute garlic and onions along with spareribs/sausage. Add sauerkraut after rising with fresh water in colander. Squeeze out water. (Use as many jars of sauerkraut as you can adjust with ingredients.) Saute then add brown sugar, parsley, beer, pepper. Cook covered over medium low heat for 1 hour. Then simmer uncovered for 1 hour.
