HOT GERMAN POTATO SALAD (SERVES
18)
 
15 potatoes boiled (med. size)
3 c. raw onions, chopped
1 1/2 lbs. diced cooked bacon (drain and save grease)
1 1/2 c. vinegar add to grease

3/4 c. flour, mix with
1 1/4 c. water (paste, like)

3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. water

Boil 10 minutes, stirring constantly.

First: potatoes, salt, pepper. Second: sauce. Third: onion and bacon. Repeat layers. SERVE WARM.
