MAPLE SYRUP 
4 c. sugar
1/2 c. light brown sugar
2 tbsp. light corn syrup
2 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. maple extract

Combine sugars, corn syrup and water. Stir until dissolved. Bring to boil. Cover and boil gently 10 minutes. Do Not Stir. Remove from heat, cool slightly. Add vanilla and maple flavors. Stir only until mixed. Makes 1 quart (recipe splits well).
