YES, IAN. IT'S SPINACH!
CASSEROLE
 
1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp. salad oil
10 oz. pkg. frozen chopped spinach
1 lb. can spaghetti sauce with mushrooms
8 oz. can tomato sauce
6 oz. can tomato paste
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
7 oz. shell or elbow macaroni, cooked
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
2 well-beaten eggs
1/4 c. salad oil

Brown first three ingredients in the 1 tablespoon oil. Cook spinach according to package. Drain, reserving liquid; add water to make 1 cup. Stir spinach liquid and next 5 ingredients into meat mixture. Simmer 10 minutes. Combine spinach with remaining ingredients; spread in 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish. Top with meat sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes. 8 to 10 servings.
