6 med. (Russet) potatoes
6 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. butter
1/8 tsp. pepper

Peel potatoes and rinse. Cut 3/4 way through potatoes every 1/8 - 1/4 inch across potato. Put in a pan with butter. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes or until butter is melted.

Arrange potatoes and brush with butter. Sprinkle with seasoning. Bake one hour at 400 degrees. Brush occasionally with the butter in the pan.
