RANCH STEW 
1 tbsp. meat drippings
1 c. chopped onion
1 lb. hamburger
1 c. chopped green pepper
1 lb. can corn, undrained
2 (1 lb.) cans kidney beans
2 (1 lb.) cans tomatoes
1 1/4 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt

Cook hamburger until brown. Reserve 1 tablespoon of drippings. In kettle, add hamburger, drippings, onions and pepper. Cook until vegetables are tender. Add corn, beans, and tomatoes. Cook until liquid is reduced to about half. Then add chili powder and salt. Bring to a boil and serve. Good with corn muffins.
