DROP DOUGHNUTS 
3 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. nutmeg (optional)
Hot fat
Cinnamon-sugar mixture

Beat eggs until light. Blend in sugar and milk. Combine baking powder and flour. Add to egg mixture. Stir in flavorings. One or two tablespoons more flour may be needed if eggs are large. Drop with a teaspoon into hot fat (375 degrees). Fry until brown. Drain. Roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture. Note: These doughnuts turn themselves during the frying process.
