SWEET AND SOUR BEEF BALLS 
1 lb. ground beef
1 egg
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. onion, chopped
Few grains pepper
1 c. pineapple juice
1 tbsp. cooking oil
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. soy sauce
3 tbsp. vinegar
6 tbsp. water
1/2 c. sugar
4 slices pineapple, cut in pieces
3 lg. green peppers, cut in strips

Mix ground beef, egg, cornstarch, salt, onion and pepper. Form into small balls. Brown in small amount of fat. Drain. Add pineapple juice to oil; cook slightly over low heat. Add mixture of cornstarch, soy sauce, vinegar, water and sugar; cook until juice thickens, stirring constantly. Add meatballs, pineapple and green peppers. Heat thoroughly. Serve hot.

Makes 6-8 servings.
