PARTY POTATOES | |
butter 1/4 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 1/2 c. milk 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed 1 1/2 c. chopped ham 2 tbsp. chopped onion 4 c. cooked potato slices 1/2 c. cracker crumbs Melt 1/4 cup butter in saucepan over low heat. Blend in flour and seasonings. Gradually add milk; cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add Velveeta cheese, stir until melted. Stir in ham and onion. Alternate layers of potatoes and sauce in a 2 quart casserole. Top with cracker crumbs tossed with 2 tablespoons melted butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. 6 servings. |
