1 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. boiling water
1 tbsp. butter

Mix and add boiling water, stirring and simmer 5 minutes. Serve hot on plain cakes. Was served in fruit dishes by Reuben Katie
