PUMPKIN TORTE 
1 (29 oz.) can pumpkin
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
4 eggs, beaten
1 box Duncan Hines spice cake mix
1/2 lb. melted butter
1 c. whole pecans

Mix first 10 ingredients and pour into 9 x 13 greased pan. Sprinkle cake mix over. Sprinkle pecans over. Pour butter over all. Bake 50 minutes or until light brown at 350 degrees. Serve with Cool Whip. Freezes well.
