CHOCOLATE BUTTERMILK CAKE 
1 2/3 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Sift together flour, sugar, cocoa, soda and salt. Beat in buttermilk, vegetable oil and vanilla. Stir until smooth. Spread in 9 x 12 inch pan which has been greased with butter. Bake 30 minutes.
