PORK CHOPS IN GRAVY 
4 pork chops, 3/4 inch thick
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
Salt and pepper
1 can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup

Brown chips on both sides in hot oil. Season. Pour undiluted soup over chops. Cover tightly, simmer over low heat or bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Makes 4 servings.
