LASAGNA 
1/2 of a 1 lb. pkg. lasagne, uncooked
2 tbsp. salad oil
1 med. onion, chopped
1 (26 oz.) jar pasta sauce
2 tsp. oregano leaves
1 (16 oz.) cottage cheese
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
3 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese

Prepare lasagne according to package directions; drain. In large skillet heat oil, add onion; cook until tender. Stir in pasta sauce and oregano. Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes. In a 13 x 9 inch baking dish, layer one-half each lasagna and sauce. Cottage cheese layer with Parmesan cheese sprinkle on top of cottage cheese then layer lasagna and sauce again and add shredded Mozzarella cheese on top. Cover. Bake in a 350 degree oven until hot about 45 minutes. Let stand uncovered, 10 minutes before serving. 12 servings. Refrigerate leftovers.

Serve with French bread sliced in half with garlic butter on it and toasted in oven under broiler.
