1 pkg. corn muffin mix
1 med. onion, chopped fine
1/2 green pepper, chopped fine and sauteed
1/2 tsp. garlic salt

Prepare corn muffin mix from package using 1/3 cup less liquid, if package does not give hush puppy recipe. Add other ingredients and mix well. Batter will be thick. Drop batter from tablespoon in very hot fat-3 at a time, to control browning. Turn hush puppies constantly until golden brown and to allow inside to cook. Drain well and serve, delicious with fish.
