DUMP CAKE 
1 (1 lb. 8 oz.) can cherry or apple pie filling
1 (8 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
1 (18 1/2 oz.) pkg. yellow cake mix
2 sticks butter, melted
1 (3 1/2 oz.) flaked coconut (optional)
1 c. chopped nuts, walnuts or pecans

Spoon cherry filling evenly on bottom of 9x13x2 inch pan. Spread pineapple over pie filling. Sprinkle dry cake mix over pineapple. Pour melted butter evenly over all. Add coconut and nuts. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
