SAUSAGE AND RICE SKILLET 
4 to 6 mild sausage links in casings
1 can stewed tomatoes with celery, onion and green peppers
1 can water
1 can Minute rice

If you can't find tomatoes with those ingredients, finely chop and add your own.

You can't make too much of a mess with one pan and one can.

When you buy the sausage and stewed tomatoes, buy some cole slaw and you won't have to make a salad! READY, SET, GO!

Brown the sausage in a pan that has a tight-fitting lid (you'll need the lid in a few minutes). Pour off most of drippings. Pour in stewed tomatoes and tomato can full of water. While that is coming to a full boil, dry out the can and fill it with rice. When tomatoes are boiling, take sausage out for a minute while you stir in rice. Turn heat off. Lay sausage links on top. Cover tightly. Now you've got 5-8 minutes to set the table, put cole slaw in dishes, fix beverages, put sausage on plates, stir rice and put it on plates with sausage, and yell "LET'S EAT!" Serves 2.
