1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda

Cream together the sugar, butter, or butter, eggs and vanilla; add flour, nutmeg, salt and baking powder.

Mix soda into sour cream and add to above mixture. Chill 1 hour. Roll out to 1/4 inch thickness, cut with cookie cutter.

Bake at 350 degrees until edges are slightly browned. Frost with powdered sugar frosting when cool.
