butter
1/2 c. butterscotch pieces
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 c. light corn syrup
2 tbsp. butter
3 c. Rice Krispies cereal
Assorted decorations: Red cinnamon candies, shoestring licorice, candy corn, gumdrops, M&M'S®, candied cherries, mixed dried fruit bits, nuts

Line a baking sheet with waxed paper, then grease the paper with butter. Set aside.

In a medium heavy saucepan, heat butterscotch chips and chocolate chips, corn syrup and butter until melted, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in cereal until evenly coated.

Turn onto prepared baking sheet and pat into a 12 x 6 inch rectangle. Chill about 15 minutes or until slightly firm. Cut cereal mixture into desired animals with cookie cutters. Trim animals with assorted decorations. Chill until firm. Wrap each animal in clear plastic wrap. Chill until serving time. For take along party, just before leaving home, pack animals in an insulated chest with ice packs. Makes 6 servings.
