CHOCOLATE COOKIE SHEET CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 stick butter
1 c. water
1/2 c. shortening
3 tbsp. cocoa
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla

ICING:

1 stick butter
6 tbsp. milk (just over 1/3 c.)
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 box powdered sugar
1 c. nuts (chopped) pecans or walnuts

Use 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 inch cookie sheet.

Into bowl, put flour, sugar and salt. Mix. Into saucepan put butter, water, shortening and cocoa. Bring to boil and pour over flour mixture. Mix well.

Into another bowl, put eggs, soda, buttermilk and vanilla. Mix well. Add to other mixture. Bake in greased, floured cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Start making icing last 5 minutes while cake bakes. Use same saucepan. Put butter, milk and cocoa. Melt, but don't boil. Take off of heat and add 1 box powdered sugar. Add nuts. Ice as soon as removed from oven. Cut into squares.
