PLAIN DILL PICKLES | |
to 1 quart of cucumbers, put dill into bottom of jar. Add: 1 tbsp. canning salt 1/2 tsp. pickling spice 1 clove garlic 2 tbsp. vinegar 1 tbsp. sugar Boil about 1 1/4 cup water and pour over cucumbers in jar. Put on lid and shake to mix well. Let set on counter 24 hours to sour. Keep in refrigerator until you are ready to eat them. |
