CHOCOLATE FRENCH COOKIES 
1 1/4 c. butter
2 c. well-sifted flour
1/2 c. cocoa
2/3 c. sugar
2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar until light. Add flour, cocoa and vanilla. Cream well. Add nut meats. Make 1 inch balls. Bake in 375 degree oven until lightly brown. Roll in powdered sugar. Store in tightly covered container.

Well, let me begin by saying, the recipe was very confusing considering the person who wrote it didn't give a bake time, the recipe just stated to "Bake it in 375 degree oven until lightly brown." Also, I thought that 375 was a little bit too hot considering how small the cookies would be and how doughy they are. However, once the delicate cookies were baked and cooled down, they were magnificent! It was like a brownie in a single bite. Me and my family loved these cookies and will definitely make them again when they come over.
