HOT GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
6 lg. potatoes
1/2 lb. bacon
1 onion, sliced
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. sugar

Boil potatoes in salt water and cover. Peel and cube. Dice bacon and fry in large skillet until brown and crisp. Remove bacon bits. Cook onions in bacon grease until soft. Stir flour into onions.

Mix vinegar, 1/2 cup water, salt, pepper and sugar together. Add flour mixture gradually, stirring constantly over low heat until thickened. Add potatoes and heat. Add bacon bits. Mix well and serve warm.
