PENNE ALL' ARRABBITAT 
56 oz. Hunt's stewed tomatoes in sauce
3/4 c. olive oil
2 tsp. basil (fresh)
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tbsp. crushed red pepper
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1/2 lb. bacon (optional)
Penne noodles (tube noodles)

Place oil in pan. Saute, then add onion, pepper, garlic, meat, and basil. Do not let garlic burn or it will turn sour. Can add touch of oregano if you wish. Add tomatoes and cook. Boil, then turn down to a simmer. Serves 10 to 15 people.
