BANANA NUT POUND CAKE | |
1 1/2 c. salad oil 2 1/2 c. sugar 3 well beaten eggs 3 c. plain flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tbsp. vanilla 1 1/2 c. mashed bananas 1 c. chopped pecans 1 tsp. salt 1/2 c. buttermilk Sift flour; add salt and soda. Set aside. Mix sugar, oil, adding one egg at a time. Add bananas. Add flour and buttermilk alternately. Add vanilla and nuts. Pour in a greased and floured tube pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes, or until done. |
