CHILI AND CHEESE CORN BREAD 
1 c. cornmeal
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sour cream
2 tbsp. melted shortening
2 tbsp. onion flakes
2 eggs
1/4 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, cubed
1/2 c. green chilies
2 tbsp. sugar
1 sm. can whole kernel corn, juice and all

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour into greased 9x9 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
