BAKED HASH BROWN POTATOES 
2 lb. bag hash brown potatoes (square cut)
1 stick butter
1 c. chopped onions
8 oz. cheddar cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 tsp. salt
1 pt. sour cream
2 c. crushed corn flakes
Dash of garlic powder & pepper

Set aside crushed corn flakes. Defrost potatoes. Mix all ingredients with 1/2 stick butter. Place in 9"x13" greased pan. Add the other 1/2 butter to 2 cup corn flakes, spread over top of mixture. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours, uncovered.
