BEEF POTATO BAKE 
1 env. dried onion soup mix
1 c. undiluted evaporated milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
4 c. thinly sliced potatoes
Paprika

Stir soup mix well and add 3 tablespoons to beef, milk and crumbs and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Mix lightly but thoroughly and spread evenly in shallow 2 quart baking dish. Mix remaining soup and salt with potatoes and parsley, if desired. Arrange evenly on meat mixture. Cover with lid or foil and bake in moderate oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover and sprinkle with cheese. Bake 15 minutes longer and sprinkle with paprika.
