6 c. Rice Krispies 1 c. peanut butter 1 c. Karo maple syrup 1 c. sugar 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips 1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips In a saucepan, combine peanut butter, syrup and sugar. Cook over low heat until smooth. Pour over Rice Krispies. Mix well. Press into 13"x9" cake pan (for thick treats) or small cookie sheet (for thinner treats). Combine chips and melt over low heat. Spread on top of Krispies. Chill until icing is set. Cut into squares as soon as icing is set for easier cutting. |
