JULIES PESTO SAUCE | |
Combine in blender 1/4 cup parsley, 1 cup fresh basil leaves or 1/4 cup of the dried herb, 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese, and whirl, adding 6 to 8 tablespoons olive oil until a smooth thick paste is formed. Or you can mash these ingredients to a smooth paste in a mortar and pestle. Then add 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Makes about 1 cup. |
