SWEET POTATO PIE 
2 c. brown sugar
3 c. mashed sweet potato
1 c. heavy cream
4 well-beaten eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. clove powder
2 tsp. vanilla
4 tbsp. brandy

Mix all dry ingredients. Add to potatoes. Add heavy cream, brandy, vanilla and eggs. Beat well. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour in 2 (9 inch) pie shells (deep dish). Makes 2 pies.
