CHICKEN DUMPLINGS 
2-3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. lard

Note: The chicken broth can be made from boiling chicken and 1/2 stick butter.

Dumplings: With your hand mix salt, flour and lard. Then gradually add sweet milk or water; mix up into stiff dough. Pinch off small amount of dough and roll thin and cut into little strips. Finally drop strips into hot broth, don't stir much.

Chicken: Boil and debone chicken. Add butter to chicken broth.
