GINGER COOKIES 
3/4 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar

Cream the above ingredients. 4 tsp. molasses

Add to creamed mixture. 2 1/4 c. flour 2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. cloves 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. ginger

Sift and add to previous mixture. Chill and shape into balls. Roll in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
