BRANDIED FRIENDSHIP CAKE 
In a gallon glass jar mix:

1 1/2 c. brandied fruit juice
1 lg. (303) can sliced peaches and juice
2 1/2 c. sugar

Stir once a day for 10 days.

On the 10th day add:

1 lg. (303) can pineapple and juice
2 1/2 c. sugar

Stir once a day for 10 days.

On the 10th day add:

2 (8 oz.) jar maraschino cherries and juice (half the cherries)
2 1/2 c. sugar

Stir once a day for 10 days.

On the 10th day separate fruit from juice. Makes 3 cakes.

CAKE:

1 box yellow (or chocolate) cake mix with pudding
1/3 c. oil
4 eggs
