MAGIC MIX 
4 c. instant nonfat dry milk
1 c. flour or 1/2 c. cornstarch
1 c. (2 sticks) butter

Combine dry milk, flour, and butter into a large bowl and mix until it looks like cornmeal. Keep mix tightly covered in the refrigerator. Makes 5 cups of Magic Mix. NOTE: Magic mix can be used in many recipes to make food preparation easy and economical.

MAGIC PUDDING:

1/2 c. sugar
2 c. Magic Mix
2 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine in a saucepan, Magic Mix, water and sugar. Stir over medium heat until pudding bubbles. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and beat. Cover and cool. For chocolate pudding: combine 3 tablespoons cocoa with the sugar and follow the original steps.

MAGIC SAUCE:

2/3 c. magic mix
1 c. water

In saucepan combine Magic Mix and water. Stir over medium heat until it starts to bubble. Add cooked meat, cheese, or vegetables to the hot sauce. Makes 1 cup. NOTE: Use Magic sauce for all recipes calling for a white or cream sauce.
