PASTA SEAFOOD SALAD | |
2 c. Ready-cut Creamette spaghetti 2 (6 oz.) frozen crab meat, thawed 1 c. celery, chopped 1/2 c. green peppers, chopped 1 c. frozen peas, thawed 1 sm. onion, minced 3 tbsp. sliced pimento 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 tbsp. Italian seasoning (Durkee's) 2 c. lite Miracle Whip Cook pasta (shells, macaroni, spaghetti) according to directions. Rinse with cold water and drain. In a bowl, combine seafood (crabmeat, shrimp or tuna), celery, peas, pepper, pimento, onion, salt, pepper, Italian dressing and lite Miracle Whip. Let stand and marinate. Before serving I add 1/4 cup half and half or 2% milk to moisten. Chicken or turkey can be substituted. Serves 8-10 people. |
