SOUR CREAM NOODLE BAKE 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. med. egg noodles
2 tbsp. butter
1 lb. ground beef chuck
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 c. cottage cheese
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. chopped onions
3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Cook noodles according to package directions; rinse and drain.

Melt butter in skillet; add meat and cook and stir over moderate heat until it loses pink color. Add tomato sauce, salt, garlic, salt and pepper; cover, simmer 5 minutes.

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Fold together noodles, cottage cheese, sour cream and onions. Spoon half the mixture into bottom of a 2 1/2 quart casserole. Cover with half the meat mixture. Repeat layers once again.

Sprinkle Cheddar cheese over top. Bake 25 to 30 minutes until mixture is thoroughly heated and cheese is melted. Serves 6 to 8.
