2 c. cornmeal (self rising)
1 tbsp. sugar
1 sm. onion
1 egg
3/4 c. sweet milk

Mix together and set in refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Then spoon out and drop into hot grease and cook until done. Takes approximately 8 to 10 minutes or until it rises to the top.
