NEVER FAIL PIE CRUST 
4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. salt (optional)
1 1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. water

Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Cut shortening into flour mixture. Beat egg, vinegar and cold water. Gradually add to above mixture. Easily rolled and flaky. Can be wrapped in waxed paper and stored in the refrigerator for future use.
