CAL. FRUIT CAKE 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 lb. oats
2 lb. English walnuts
8 oz. maraschino cherries
2 lb. hazel nuts
5 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla

Coat fruit and nuts with dry ingredients, add eggs and vanilla. Line 2 loaf pans with oil and brown paper. Bake 1 1/2 hours in 325 degree oven.
