FRUITED BROWN BETTY | |
1/3 c. butter 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 1/2 c. (12 oz.) pound cake crumbs 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1 (1 lb. 5 oz.) can apple or cherry pie filling Cream butter, sugar, and cinnamon until light and fluffy. Stir in cake crumbs. Spread half of the mixture in a 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan. Stir lemon juice into pie filling. Pour into pan. Top with remaining cake crumb mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve with vanilla sauce. |
