1/2 head cabbage, shredded
1 sm. onion, chopped fine
1 sm. bag carrots, grated
1 1/2 c. vinegar
About 8 oz. mayonnaise
Sugar to taste

Mix all ingredients together and chill.

Uncle James said that you just add enough sugar to "kill" the cut of the vinegar. Have we ever had a family picnic or cookout without this "famous" salad?
